BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – The West Indian American Day Carnival parade, an annual celebration of Caribbean culture and pride, was held in the streets of Brooklyn on Monday.

The parade marched west along Eastern Parkway, officially starting at Schenectady Avenue and ending at Grand Army Plaza.

The West Indian Day parade is one of the biggest parades in New York City, drawing large crowds of spectators and participants.

The parade was broadcast live on PIX11, PIX11.com, and the PIX11+ streaming app.
